Welcome to GO Road Co.

Before Signing your GO Road Co. Resident Membership Agreement, please take the time to read the following terms and conditions of your membership. We advise that you only sign the membership agreement if you understand and agree with these terms and conditions. The information outlined in these terms and conditions will be used in the event of a discrepancy.

1. INTRODUCTION

By signing the membership agreement you are agreeing to have been given a copy of this agreement and agree to abide by the rules of the membership.

2. DEFINITIONS

‘GO Road Co.’ is used in place of its parent company Pinnacle Properties Pty Ltd.

3. BUILDING ACCESS

All members must use their access card at the rear of GO Road Co. upon entering. This will disarm the alarm if the building is armed. If you are not a regular GO Road Co. member, access to the building will need to be arranged by contacting hello@goroadco.com.au or phoning 0490 885 389. Access card scan is compulsory for security and insurance requirements. Any lost cards need to be reported IMMEDIATELY and a replacement card can be issued at a cost of $15.

4. DRESS CODE

Clothing must be clean and tidy with no offensive prints or designs for the consideration of other members. Please be mindful of footwear when using the stairs.

5. CHILDREN

Children are generally not allowed in the co-working space for insurance reasons and safety. Breastfeeding is encouraged. A member who has their own office can bring their children into their closed room at their discretion. However, all members should be mindful that this is a work environment and should be treated as such. The safety of the child(ren) remains the responsibility of the parent at all times.

6. USE OF EQUIPMENT

GO Road Co. is your space, we want you to feel at home. However, we do ask that you clean all your own dishes (sponge and detergent is on the sink), dry and put them away following use. Should you use any magazines, reading material or move furniture, we ask that you return them where you found them when you have finished using them.

7. LOST PROPERTY

We highly recommend that you label all of the property and personal belongings you bring into GO Road Co. We do not take responsibility for loss or damage of your belongings. Any items of lost property will be held for 2 weeks and then donated to charity.

8. MEMBERSHIP/RESIDENCY

a. ENTITLEMENTS Residency at GO Road Co. entitles you to:

i. Work in our space at the frequency dictated and location according to your office option (see attached map)

ii. 24/7 access to GO Road Co. via use of your access card (1 is provided.  Additional are provided on request.  A deposit $15 is required for each. )

iii. Use of Board Room and consulting room (Bookings essential. Availability dependent. Fair Use Applies)

v. Access to printer, invoices for use are sent at the end of each month based on your usage

vi. Onsite basic tea, coffee and milk. Please bring along and label any special items you require

vii. Allocated Office Space is provided ready to occupy at agreed date. Unfurnished and Lockable.

b. OBLIGATIONS

Your Membership at GO Road Co. requires you to:

I. Comply with all policies, procedures and codes of conduct.

ii. Pay all agreed fees by the due date required

iii. Act and conduct yourself and your business in an appropriate manner, ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others is a priority at all times

iv. Testing and Tagging of ALL electrical equipment in use at GO Road Co..

c. SPECIAL CONDITIONS REGARDING MEMBERSHIP ENTITLEMENTS

i. GO Road Co. reserves the right to make changes to the equipment, layout and services supplied at GO Road Co. at any time

ii. All entitlements and entry to GO Road Co. are revoked if a members account is in arrears in excess of $50.00

iii. If you fail to pay us the fees by the due date, we are entitled to refuse you entry to GO Road Co.. If unpaid fees remain outstanding and after attempts by us to rectify the arrears on your membership, it may be forwarded to a collection agency for further action

iv. Membership fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Any hours unused within the month/quarter/membership are forfeited at the conclusion of the month/quarter/membership.

d. CHANGES TO CONDITIONS

GO Road Co. reserve the right to change the conditions within Clause 8(c) by providing you with written notification. All attempts will be made to notify with one month advance notice.

e. SERVICE PROVISION CLAUSE

GO Road Co. will do its utmost to ensure services at GO Road Co. are accessible at all times. However, there are circumstances outside of GO Road Co.’s control whereby provision of services such as internet accessibility, printer use and electricity are reliant on external service providers. GO Road Co. excludes any liability to the member in agreement, tort, statute or in any other way for any injury, damage or loss of any kind whatsoever (including, without limitation, any liability, for direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage), sustained by the Member and/or any other person, or for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by the member as a result of Services being inaccessible.

9. CANCELLATION/TERMINATION

This agreement is subject to a cooling off period of 5 days. A cancellation request should be directed to GO Road Co..

The following applies:

a. During Cooling off Period

i. GO Road Co. requires a written request to terminate membership within the timeframe specified as the cooling off period from signing the membership agreement

ii. You will be required to pay for any hours used over this time.

iii. GO Road Co. must receive payment of $45.00 to cover administration costs

iv. GO Road Co. may request additional payment to recover costs in relation to any services provided to the member within this period

b. Outside Cooling off Period - Permanent Offices

Your residency may be terminated under the following conditions outside of the cooling off period:

i. A 90-day notification period of intent to vacate is required for Permanent Offices. This needs to be made in writing and emailed to hello@goroadco.com.au. 90-Days begins at time of confirmation email reply sent to resident. If a suitable tenant is found prior to the end of the 90 days, this period may be waived at the agreement of GO Road Co. and the Resident

ii. Permanent Sickness or Physical Incapacity (Doctor/Specialist letter is required)

c. Termination by GO Road Co.

GO Road Co. reserves the right to terminate this membership agreement in accordance with the following:

i. Failure to abide by any of the criteria listed in this terms and conditions document

ii. Action upon a complaint by either a member, employee or contractor of GO Road Co..

d. Termination of your membership at any other time (co-working & permanent offices)

i. Advise in writing of your request for membership cessation, PRIOR to the 20th of the month (full payment of invoice is required if AFTER this date)

ii. Any outstanding fees must be finalised

iii. Without exception, all final debits will consist of no less than the normal debit amount

iv. In accordance with the above clauses in Section 9, notice must be given unless otherwise specified by GO Road Co. It is your responsibility to ensure this is received by GO Road Co. before the 20th of the month (when invoices are raised).

10. SUSPENSION

Suspensions are available for monthly co-working memberships only, and need to be requested before the 20th of the month prior to which the suspension is required. Suspension is not available for quarterly memberships.

11. INCREASE IN FEES

There will be an annual rent fee increase advised 1st of March of each calendar year, applicable to invoicing in June of that same calendar year. This increase is at the discretion of GO Road Co., and will take into account increases relating to utilities and other supplies. You will be advised of this increase amount in advance.

12. LATE FEE

A late fee of 10% will be added if payment of your membership is not paid by the due date (by the 1st of the following month). A further late fee will be applied for every 7 days your invoice remains outstanding. Should you have any problems that arise that will cause late payment, please email hello@goroadco.com.au to discuss alternative arrangements.

13. DAMAGE & PERSONAL INJURY

To the extent permitted by law, GO Road Co. excludes any liability to the member in agreement, tort, statute or in any other way for any injury, damage or loss of any kind whatsoever (including, without limitation, any liability, for direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage), sustained by the Member and/or any other person, or for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by the member, arising from or in connection with this Membership Agreement and/or the services/products provided by GO Road Co. or any act or omission of GO Road Co.

14. PRIVACY

All ‘personal information’ (as that defined in the Privacy Act 1988, Cwth), will only be used by GO Road Co. and will not be given to any other party. The Privacy statement can be obtained from here.

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement, understanding and arrangement (express and implied) between the member and GO Road Co., relating to the subject matter of this agreement and supersedes and cancels any previous agreement, understanding and arrangement relating thereto whether written or oral.
